What is a notarized signature?

A notarized signature is when a signer signs a document, and the notary verifies and signs it as well.

  • Example:  If one person signs the document and the notary notarizes it - that counts as one notarized signature.
  • If two people sign the same document and the notary notarizes it -that counts as two notarized signatures.
  • If one person signs two different documents one time – that counts as two notarized signatures.
  • If you have multiple copies of the same document and wish to have each copy notarized, those will each count as seperate notarized signatures.
