The most commonly ask questions


1) What is a notarized Signature?

    - A notarized signature is when one signer signs the document and then the notary signs the document. 

     Examples 

    - One person signs the document followed by the notary signature  is considered one notarized signature.

    - Two people sign one document followed by the notary signature is considered 2 notarized signatures.


2) What are acceptable forms of Identification?

      - Driver Licenses that is not expired

      - State Identification Card that is not expired

      - Passport that is not expired

If none of the above are available then:

       - Two (2) credible witness with the above listed ID. They must personally know   you and not be named in the document being notarized. They must be present at the time of document signing.


3) Does my name on my ID need to match my name on the document?

     - Yes, it does. The document cannot have more names that the ID shows.


4) Does the document signer need to be present for the notarization?

    -Yes, they do need to appear in front of the notary at the time of notarization. 


5) Can I translate for my friend when you do the notary?

     - No. The signer must be able to communicate with the Notary without a translator. At this time we do not currently have any bilingual Notaries.


6) What are your accepted payment methods?

    - Cash 

    - Debit / Credit Card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover 

    - Zelle – Hernandez 760-217-3369

    -  No Personal Checks are accepted 


7) Can you pick the document that you think I will need?

     - No, Notaries are not able to pick the document for you.  You will need to determine the best documents for your needs. If you need help selecting the correct documents or need help filling them out, please consult an Attorney, Lawyer, Paralegal or Legal Document Assistant for further help. Our notaries can not help you complete the documents.

Signing a Deed with a Notary Public

Please be on time to your appointment or notify us at 760-217-3369 if you are running late. 


My Mobile Notary Public reserves the right to cancel all appointments due to the following reasons: 


No refunds or returns on Notary Service after service has been provided. 

  • If you order an item in error or pay in advance for more signatures that you needed, a refund will be made back to the original payment method for the unused portion of your payment
  • All appointments will be charged a mobile/travel charge that is included in the total service fee
  • If the notary has arrived at your location and we are not able to complete your service, a mobile/travel fee of $20 will still be applied/charged for services in Apple Valley, Hesperia, Victorville, and Apple Valley. Mobile/travel fee will be higher for other cities. Any unused signature fee that you have paid in advance will be refunded back to your original payment method less the mobile/ travel fee


Reasons services can not be provided  

  • Signer lacks valid ID/ Valid Credible Witnesses 
  • Signer does not have the document(s) they need to have notarized 
  • Document Signer is not present
  • Signer is uncoherent/unaware or lacks the ability to clearly understand the documents they are being asked to sign
  • Signer is unable to communication with the notary without assistance. At this time we do not have any bilingual notaries. All services must be conducted in the notaries language - English. Unfortunately, the use of a translator is not allowed per California Notary Public Guidelines
  • Signer/anyone in the home/location is ill or sick with COVID/cold/flu/contagious illness. This must be disclosed prior to scheduling the appointment
